Coinbase's pricing is famous for being hard to see in one place. On the simple app, every quote includes a spread of roughly 0.5%, and on top of that Coinbase adds a transaction fee: a flat amount starting at $0.99 for small orders, a percentage above about $200, and 3.99% when you pay with a debit card. ACH deposits are free. USD wires cost $10 to deposit and $25 to withdraw. Crypto withdrawals carry the network fee.
Coinbase One is Coinbase's answer to the fee complaints. The Basic tier at $4.99 a month waives transaction fees on up to $500 of monthly volume, Preferred at $29.99 covers up to $10,000, and Premium at $299.99 has no cap. The spread remains on every subscription tier. Advanced Trade is the other answer: 0.60% taker and 0.40% maker at the base tier, no spread, falling with 30-day volume. It is the schedule for customers who are comfortable placing a limit order themselves.
Against that, Anytime Capital's card pricing starts from 4% with the spread already inside the one number you see, with the amount you pay and the crypto you receive shown before you confirm, rather than a fee on one line and a spread folded into the quote. For larger amounts the OTC desk quotes a same-day wire with a named contact, which is something Advanced Trade does not offer.
